Our auditions are open to everyone, informal and friendly. We know it can be a nail-biting experience and aim to create a relaxed, welcoming environment. No panels of judges, just encouraging smiles.

SPAT ONE ACT PLAY FESTIVAL
– Do you want to be in a One Act Play?
– We are looking for actors, aged fourteen years and over
– All abilities and experience welcome, if you’ve never acted before come along anyway and we’ll show you where to startTHE COMMITMENT
– Performances: Fri April 29th, Sat April 30th, Sun May 1st, Fri May 6th, Sat May 7th and Sun May 8th – Fri & Sat at 7:30pm, Sun 2:30 matinee
The Audition Process
Step 1. Apply for or update if necessary your Working with Children Check (read SPAT’s Code of Conduct and WCC Policy)
Step 2. Attend the auditions
Step 3. If you are successful in your audition become a member of SPAT (it is a requirement to be a member of SPAT for insurance purposes)
Note regarding SPAT Membership
To participate in any SPAT Production in any capacity you will need to be a member of SPAT for insurance purposes. This applies to both adults and young performers alike. If you are not already a member please enroll by going to our membership page. Membership is easy – just click here.
