SPAT is proudly hosting this year’s Playmates Illawarra in the CWA Hall in Stanwell Park. Following the success of the new touring format, which launched last year with a hugely successful showcase at Wollongong Workshop Theatre, Black Box Productions are excited to continue bringing Playmates to different corners of the Illawarra.
2025 also marks a massive milestone – 20 YEARS of Playmates Illawarra! That makes Playmates the longest-running active annual show in the region – a true testimony to the philosophy that the Illawarra theatre community believes in working together to support one another.
The teams being represented in this year’s showcase:
- Stanwell Park Arts Theatre (SPAT) – host company
- Wollongong Workshop Theatre
- Roo Theatre
- Wollongong Comedy (defending champions)
- University of Wollongong (Creative Arts)
- Black Box Productions
