SPAT Music – Your invitation to join the orchestra!

The Northern Illawarra needs a community orchestra, so SPAT (Stanwell Park Arts Theatre) is forming one!

We are now looking for wind, percussion and string musicians to help us create one.

The aim of this group is to get together for a few rehearsals and then perform at a semi annual outdoor evening of music, a relaxed family event where the audience can sit on picnic blankets, eat and enjoy some lovely instrumental music.

The evening will also allow time for a few featured performers to play. So dust off that old tuba or flute and come have a play!

2. SPAT Kids Safe Policy

SPAT fully supports NSW Kids Guardian legislation. As such ‘some shows’ which require children as part of the cast (e.g. Panto) will mean that all adult performers and some production staff will be required to obtain a WWCC before they audition for a part or apply to be part of the production team.  You will be asked to provide your WWCC number as part of the audition / application process.

We take the safely of children in our community very seriously and we trust that you will assist us to keep our children safe.
